lobhaḥ pravṛttirārambhaḥ karmaṇāmaśamaḥ spṛhā |
rajasyetāni jāyante vivṛddhe bharatarṣabha ||14-12||
O best of Bharatas! When Rajas is predominant, greed, activity (general striving), the undertaking of actions, absence of tranquillity, and craving—all these arise.
