yasmātkṣaramatīto'hamakṣarādapi cottamaḥ |
ato'smi loke vede ca prathitaḥ puruṣottamaḥ ||15-18||
Because I transcend the perishable and am superior even to the imperishable, I am renowned in the world and in the Vedas as Purushottama.
