adhiṣṭhānaṃ tathā kartā karaṇaṃ ca pṛthagvidham |
vividhāśca pṛthakceṣṭā daivaṃ caivātra pañcamam ||18-14||
The seat (body), the doer, the various instruments (senses, etc.), the various and distinct efforts, and the fifth cause is the divine.
