utsīdeyurime lokā na kuryāṃ karma cedaham |
saṅkarasya ca kartā syāmupahanyāmimāḥ prajāḥ ||3-24||
If I did not perform action, all these worlds would perish; and I would be the cause of mixed castes and the destroyer of this people.
