āvṛtaṃ jñānametena jñānino nityavairiṇā |
kāmarūpeṇa kaunteya duṣpūreṇānalena ca ||3-39||
O Kaunteya! Knowledge is covered by this eternal enemy of the wise man—desire in the form of desire (kama), which is like fire and difficult to satisfy.
