yaṃ saṃnyāsamiti prāhuryogaṃ taṃ viddhi pāṇḍava |
na hyasaṃnyastasaṅkalpo yogī bhavati kaścana ||6-2||
O Pandava! What the learned call renunciation, that you should understand as Yoga; for no man who has not abandoned desires becomes a Yogi.
