yaṃ yaṃ vāpi smaranbhāvaṃ tyajatyante kalevaram |
taṃ tamevaiti kaunteya sadā tadbhāvabhāvitaḥ ||8-6||
O Kaunteya! Whatever state one remembers when relinquishing the body at the time of death—to that state one always attains, as a result of that contemplation.
