rajo rāgātmakaṃ viddhi tṛṣṇāsaṅgasamudbhavam |
tannibadhnāti kaunteya karmasaṅgena dehinam ||14-7||
O son of Kunti! Know Rajas to be of the nature of passion, from which arise craving and attachment. It binds the embodied Atman through attachment to action.
